Pierce architectural designers have introduced a new concept on select plans referred to as the Texas Basement. This allows homeowners to take advantage of the space in the attic that has historically been wasted. The photo illustrates the stairs that have been installed to access the Texas Basement (attic) vs. the unpredictable pull down stairs that are typically used. The stairs provide easy access to the attic for the homeowner as they change out the filters. Going up the stairs to the Texas basement for all your storage needs is just as easy as using stairs to access a basement that is located below the ground. (See next section for Texas Basement).
