The energy efficient and healthy home environment features incorporated into our Lakewood
Homes by Pierce has surpassed our expectations. One thing we have noticed is how clean and
dust free the home is. With the strong North Texas winds, we would not have expected this
to be the case. We attribute this to the care taken to properly seal the air duct system
during construction, the outside air intake system that brings fresh air into the home,
the numerous third party inspections during construction to insure proper implementation
of energy efficiency and healthy home environment construction features, and the
pressurized test of the entire home when it was completed which provides a computerized
print out of how energy efficient the home is. We moved in last spring and were very
happy with how comfortable the entire home was, especially during the heat of the summer.
We were also pleasantly surprised with the relatively low energy cost for a home this size
given the intense Texas heat. You build a great home and stand by your product.
