The owners asked Pierce to design a home on a two acre estate that would preserve the trees.  In addition, the views from the rear of the home were directed through the trees into Lake Grapevine.  One of the owners, a professional artist, wanted a 1000 square foot art studio on the second floor that would capture all the views.  The other owner, who worked full time from home as an investor, wanted a library that had the latest in electronic equipment and wiring..
